k managed to get counter strike source free that actually works on my Operating systems,

I need a steam validation code or a bypass crack you got any?

ive tried serials.be and many others, I have no idea how this steam shit works and cant be bothered to spend hours cracking it so um yeh,

thats good then coz you will be spending years trying to crack it and you never will... this is how steam works. You buy a game and then install it and then u create an account through steam (if you dont have an existing one) and then put the serial into steam for that account. Now that account is enabled to that game and ONLY that account can play that game with that serial. To find a serial that works you will have to buy the game. Unless someone is willing to give you their unused serial which they have just bought. But seriously who would do that, that is just retarded.

it has HL1 & 2, some other game i forget, and a game called "Portal" that i realllllly want to play

The orange box has Half life 2, Half life 2: Episode 1, Half life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. I have it on pc ts pwnage!!! I wouldnt get it for xbox 360 but thats coz ive played all the half life games since the very first and am used to it on pc. anyway its way worth it. Half life 2, ep1 and ep 2 have to be few of the best games ive played.
Seriously... buying CSS is worth it. I used to have it but i lent my account to a friend and it got banned -.- .. But yeah Css rules i love surf maps :p they are addictive xD.

Good choice Rev. I don't think it has HL1 though. As far as I know it's got Half Life 2 Episode 1 + 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. Half Life 2 is self explanatory, Portal is a problem solving game..with a portal gun, and Team Fortress 2 looks really damn fun (haven't tried this one yet).

but i've never played or seen anyone play portal. i was just reading about it and it sounds like it could be really addictive. XD

Lol its pretty Awesomeness xD. Its got like some random quotes and funny stuff in it but yeah its pretty fun. Only takes like 2 hours to finish but its 2 hours of Win=D.

or downloadable maps and junks to play.

I remember trying to play HL1. I got off the tram thing, walked to get my suit and weapon (I could be wrong..it's been a few years), went into some place and then my screen went black and these red flashes came up on my screen. Then these things started attacking me and I gave up .

lol... yes. you experienced the famous 'Black Mesa Incident'. xD and those things attacking you were probably vortigaunts. =D. i love that game so much...brings back so many memories.
