Ventrilo is a VoIP (Voice-over-Internet-Protocol) service which is free to use. There are two programs for Ventrilo; the server and client version. For the purposes of scrims/wars, this guide will only address what is needed from the client version.

Requirements:
Microphone (optional)
Internet Connection
Speakers/Headphones/etc.

1. Visit http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php. 2. Download the appropriate client version for your operating system. 3. Execute the file and follow the instructions to install. 4. Open up ventrilo to the main window. 5. (i) Your Ventrilo window should look something like this. (ii) (iii) Enter your name you wish to use. Click Okay until you're back to the main window. (iv) Your Ventrilo window should look something like this. Close the Ventrilo window. 6. Visit this link: http://www.gamearena.com.au/getconnected/servers/voicecomms/index.php 7. In the Ventrilo section, select the appropriate 'connect' link (usually server #2). 8. Your Ventrilo program should open by itself (or after you 'allow it') and connect to the GameArena Ventrilo server. 9. Scroll down the channels until you find the appropriate channel. Double click the channel to connect.
